Reiko Natsume

Reiko's abilities are rather limited in terms of luceti, but can still be applicable in case of certain interactions.

In Reiko's world, youkai and ayakashi inhabit a plane that humans can't normally interact with. Only very powerful ayakashi are able to affect normal humans; however, Reiko's spiritual power makes her different. She can see and touch all youkai, and has enough power to subdue most of them.

What this means for you:

If you interact with Reiko:
• If your character can sense spiritual energy, she would register as being extremely powerful.

• Physically, as Reiko is Takashi's grandmother they look nearly identical apart from gender. Youkai, who don't distinguish between human sexes, can't tell them apart easily. They 'feel' nearly identical to spiritual senses, and have similar scents.

If Reiko is interacting with you:
• If your character is normally invisible/non-corporeal to ordinary humans, she can probably see you. Same if they have a special marking or ability that is normally unseen. She wouldn't necessarily see through a magical disguise - for instance, if a youkai can change form she doesn't always see the 'true' form, but the form the youkai has chosen.

• If your character routinely gives off spiritual energy of their own, she can possibly sense it as well unless they have means of suppressing it. Especially relevant would be 'evil' auras. This doesn't mean she can instantly sense your character is nonhuman, though. The strength of this seems variable (she can't always tell a youkai is a youkai on sight, depending on their abilities) so it's up to you if it applies.
